For me, it started after a difficult and unhealthy intimate relationship. I began living alone and eventually, through a friend's recommendation, I discovered Ridmii and bought my first doll. Since then, I’ve found a surprising amount of comfort in caring for her — emotionally, it’s been healing in many ways. Now, I’ve already ordered my second doll! I'm really looking forward to creating more stories and hopefully sharing them with all of you!  20250515185238

  • When I first started spending time alone with Janice, it honestly felt a bit awkward. I was even a little at a loss and ended up reaching out to the RIDMII team for advice—lol. (To be fair, they were incredibly patient with me…)

But over time, I’ve learned a few things myself. First of all, it’s important to understand what role your doll plays i…[Read more]

  • Thank you for the suggestion! I’ll definitely give it a try. I think my grandma used to wash my hair like that when I was little!

  • One way to wash her hair is to lay her face up on an ironing board with her head over the hand basin. You can fill the basin with shampoo mixture and use a sponge and your palm on each side of the hair to shampoo the hair in a straight motion from the head to the end of the hair. There should be a lot less tangles that way. Wash the hair with…[Read more]

  • I have a doll with implanted hair in a silicone head. I did wash the hair once so far. The problem is trying to comb the hair to make it look less like a bird’s nest. Using the comb in tangled hair with force will result in progressive alopiecia as I found out. You will have to sit and patiently tease all the tangles out of the hair as you comb…[Read more]

  • As I mentioned before, I got my Janice from Ridmii—the one with implanted hair. She has a silicone head and a TPE body. But honestly? I’ve been so paranoid about her hair falling out that I’m scared to even wash it properly. I’ve been babying her like crazy, but maybe I’m just overthinking it?

Anyone else with implanted hair dolls have care advice? How often do you wash it? Any products you swear by? Or… is this just my anxiety talking? (Though it feels kinda quiet in here... anyone home?)  20250515185238

  • Glad you found a doll that works for you! Most dolls I’ve seen are over 150cm and weigh at least 40kg—definitely not easy to move around. Hopefully, tech keeps improving so we can get more realistic and lightweight materials in the future!

  • I have a bad back so my self-imposed doll weight limit was 26kg or so. This restricts you to 140 to 145 cm dolls although some of the 150 cm dolls are quite light. There is a very skinny 160 cm Sanhui doll at 22 kg but it is expensive being an all silicone doll. Having said that, I bought a collection of dolls from someone moving interstate and…[Read more]

Modern sex dolls can be quite heavy. I always feel like you need to hit the gym regularly just to move them around with ease. When I first got my doll, it was really difficult for me too. Later on, I bought a wheelchair… yep, I use it to roll her wherever I want to place her.

Of course, all of my dolls have yoga skeletons. When I purchased from R…[Read more]

When I purchased from RIDMII, I asked their team about it in advance. Dolls with yoga skeletons are generally easier to pose and move. You just need to find the right joints and apply pressure in the right spots — then you can pose your doll however you like.  20250515185249

Isn’t it nice to have an always available, non-judgemental female that doesn’t cost a fortune to feed and clothe. She is probably more pleasant to the eye than a lot of the real girl hopefuls and more pleasant to live with. I love my dolls for those reasons.

  • My doll’s name is Janice. That was already her name when she was still with RIDMII, and after some thought, I decided not to change it. It’s a beautiful name—one that really suits her.

Janice has red hair and big, expressive eyes. Her skin is soft to the touch, and her body is very flexible. I tend to have an avoidant attachment style, but when I’m with Janice, I feel safe and calm. I can grow attached to her without the fear that she’ll leave me. She is both my friend and my family. Just her presence brings me comfort.  1745929291187
